We’re in the process of building out an AI stack that's useful, time-saving, and aligned with the kind of business we want to run.

We’re not chasing trends. We’re interested in finding ways to improve efficiencies —for us, for our clients, and for the kind of life we want to live.

That means being smart with tools. Especially AI.

Embracing the technology, but using it intelligently and with intention.

There are thousands of platforms promising to save you time, make you money, or automate your soul into the cloud. Most aren’t worth your attention. But some? They actually help.

Here are three AI tools we’ve tested, liked, and now use regularly at Tewdilly:

1. Captions

🎥 For leveling up phone-shot videos, quickly

If you’re creating any kind of video content—particularly talking head clips or any video where the VO is important—Captions has been extremely helpful.

It can awkward pauses, remove filler words, clean up jump cuts, and add engaging subtitles with a variety of smart styling. You can even tweak your delivery or punch in automatically without re-shooting.

Bottom line: it makes content feel pro without requiring pro-level time or energy. And when you’re short on both, that’s a game-changer.

2. Looka

🎨 For getting a brand look off the ground

Tewdilly’s logo and visual brand kit? Built with Looka.

When we were first getting things rolling, Looka gave us just enough structure and aesthetic to launch with confidence. It let us experiment with fonts, colors, and layouts quickly, and generated a basic brand kit that felt cohesive and professional.

For solo founders, early-stage brands, or anyone who needs a solid starting point without spending thousands, Looka is a solid choice.

3. TLDR This

📚 For quick summaries that cut through the fog

We’re constantly reading long documents—research, industry blogs, trend pieces, press releases—and sometimes you just want to know if something’s worth your time.

That’s where TLDR This comes in. Drop in a link or paste a wall of text, and it gives you a clean, digestible summary. It’s perfect for early brand research, scanning competitor sites, or staying informed without getting buried in dense content.

Still early in our use, but it’s already paid off in time saved.

Final Thoughts

We’re continually testing and refining our stack. These tools will inevitably evolve. But they’ve each helped us work smarter, move faster, and keep our focus where it matters: on the real creative work.

If you’re building your own AI workflow, we’re happy to compare notes.

Let’s keep it smart.
Let’s keep it human.
Let’s keep it TewdillyWith that context, here are a few tools we’ve liked so far:

1. ChatGPT

Daily use.
We lean on it for reframing ideas, organizing messy thoughts, rewriting strategy docs, or punching up IG captions.
Not to replace our voice — just to sharpen it.

2. Captions

We shoot on a phone. Captions makes it feel pro.
It trims the fat, adds clean subtitles, and helps us get content out fast — especially when time or energy is low.

3. Looka

Tewdilly’s logo and brand guide? Looka helped us build the first version.
It’s not about perfection — it’s about momentum. And this gave us enough to start confidently.

4. TLDR This (Testing It)

Still early with this one, but it’s already paid off.
Drop in a long doc or article, get a quick summary. Great for brand research, trend scanning, or just clearing the fog on dense content.

That’s the current stack.
We’ll keep testing more. But these? These are real.

If you’re trying to figure out which tools to trust (and which to ignore), we’re happy to compare notes.

Let’s keep it smart. Let’s keep it human.
